ASUS teams with Intel in search for brilliant young marketing planners under `ASUS and Intel UMaC - University Marketing Challenge` project

The project has been fully supported by "Intel", which also wants to give student participants who enthuse about technology market an opportunity to join a practical activity that enhances their marketing planning skills. And that becomes the "ASUS & Intel UMaC: University Marketing Challenge" project.
"Although strategically marketing is presented in various formats, it has been all stemmed from the same source of concept. Therefore, we are trying to encourage campus students to think out of the box by expressing their creative idea on marketing strategy for the IT products. This will enhance their confidence and definitely is the true stage for enthusiasm young marketing planners to prepare themselves to start career in a more confidence manner," said Mr.Pornthep Watchara-amnouy, Managing Director of ASUSTeK Computer (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Ms. Kittithida Prakasukarn, the Project Manager, explained on the UMaC project rules, saying that: "The participant teams consist of three students from same educational institutions whose age between 18 and 25 years old. They are welcomed to submit marketing plan for the technology and IT products either in Thai or English. Only ten finalists will be chosen by panel of professional marketing planner judges to give presentation in a final stage and only three of them will get rewarded."
Registration will kick off from September 5 to October 12, 2007 and finalist teams are scheduled to be announced on the project's official website on October 19, 2007.
